In 1999 Tom left Dartford Grammar School, with a distinction in business and finance, but had no real idea what he wanted to do.
After a bit of searching around he finally got a job working in the accounts department at The Bank Of New York, London. This lasted 6 months before he realised it wasn’t for him, and a new opportunity arose, in sales.
A friend who he played football with owned a magazine and was looking for someone to work in the advertising sales section of the magazine, this started a period of 4 years working in advertising sales for various companies.
Then in 2004 Tom’s Corporate Hospitality journey started, which is also when he first met Peter and just 3 years later they decided to establish their own company and Clearpoint Business Services was born.
Tom enjoys a range of sports and was part of the Barmy Army during the fateful 2006/07 Ashes tour to Australia, he also enjoys following the England football team around the world and has been to over 30 different countries following them in friendlies, World Cup/European Championship Qualifiers and major tournaments.
In addition to his love for football and cricket, Tom loves to play golf, although not the best, it is something he enjoys and is determined to get better at.
Tom is a family man and is married with 3 young children.
